Amherst Central High School's 2024 Awards Assembly was held on the evening of June 5th.  The twenty-eighth recipient of the Angela Coniglio Memorial Scholarship was senior Sage Sabatino, who received an award of $2,200, presented by Angela's first cousin once removed, Rebecca Coniglio Scherrer.

Sage is in the National Honor Society and has been on the High Honor Roll every marking period throughout high school.  She earned a New York State Seal of Biliteracy in Latin, and in Civic Readiness. She has volunteered over fifty hours in community work, including three months at Roswell Park Hospital.

Sage is a three-sport athlete who has led her teams to success, and earned individual honors as well, in Flag Football, Field Hockey, and Basketball, and she has captained each of those teams, earning the 2023 Junior Scholar Athlete Award.
