In 2021, we celebrated our 60th Wedding Anniversary at the Wurlitzer Events Center. To see the slide show, CLICK HERE.

Our neighbor city of Hamilton, Ontario has an annual month-long festival of Italian culture called Fesitalia. For a decade, the festa has been capped off by 'Sicilia Canta!', a celebration of Sicily and Sicilian Canadians that includes Sicilian singers, entertainers, and skits; visits from residents of Hamilton's sister city, Racalmuto; and Sicilian food: all rolled into one fabulous night at LIUNA Station, Hamilton's equivalent of the U.S.'s Ellis Island.

I have been lucky enough to attend Sicilia Canta! for several years; my wife Angie and nieces Jackie and Denise have attended as well, and we were disappointed when COVID interrupted this grand tradition.

The prime movers of Sicilia Canta! are our friends, Hamiltonians Sam Cino and Joe Baiardo. This year, Sam and Joe have created "VIRTUALLY INTERNATIONAL SICILIA CANTA 2021"
