Frannie's son Tony posted the following on 25 April 2016

My mom would have been 87 today.

She was born somewhere outside of Indianapolis in 1929.  She was fourth in a family with six children.  By 1938 she had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. She lived in Kenmore and went to school 84 in Buffalo and dropped out in 9th grade. Somewhere in her late teens she spent a full year in the hospital. She worked at M. Wile and for the phone company.  My mom and dad married on the day after Christmas in 1948 when she was 19 years o
ld.  They had 30 happy years together.  She was beautiful in every way and everybody loved her.  My mom died in 1978 just after I had graduated from high school.  I was 17 and my brother Tom was 15.  My Uncle George Knickerbocker will likely know more of the details of her early life.

The incident that Judy Murphy recalls happened around 1975.  In the early evening when my dad was at work and she had just returned from winning at Bingo at Mother of Divine Grace church, she suffered a mild heart attack.  My good friend David Morawski's dad (Chief of the Cheektowaga Fire Dept) heard the emergency call on his scanner. He immediately dropped what he was doing and ran down the street six houses only to drop dead on our front steps.  Unbelievable but true.  The ambulance that came for my mom took Mr. Morawski instead and we called another one for her.

As a result the Morawski's and I have a permanent connection and I am grateful to them.
