        No primary records of my fourth-great-grandmother Anna's birth have been found.    Her name is given on the marriage records of her son Giuseppe Abbate.  Besides the names of her son and her husband Gioachino Abbate,  no other information is known for certain.  Her surname was not given.  It's shown here as 'in Abbate', meaning she was married to an Abbate.  Since her son were born in about 1776, it's assumed that Anna was born in about 1760 or earlier.
