Filippo Tuzzeo Faraone
Born:  ~ about 1765, Mussomeli, Caltanissetta, Regnu di Sicilia
Married:  ~ 2 August 1792, Mussomeli, Caltanissetta, Regnu di Sicilia

Died: 23 February 1823, Mussomeli, Caltanissetta, Regnu di li dui Siciliji

Meaning of Tuzzeo (toot-TZEH-yoh): not known
also appears as Tuzeo and Zuzzeo in Mussomeli, and as
Zuzzè in Vallelunga.

Meaning of Faraone (fah-rah-OH-neh): pharoah, probably an nciuria or nickname.

The surname Tuzzeo (variations: Tuzeo, Zuzzeo) was common in Mussomeli and may have originated there.  One family by that name emigrated from Mussomeli in the 1700s to the nearby town of Vallelunga Pratameno, where the surname was modified to Zuzzè.  The second surname Faraone was also spelled Faragone.

The marriage record of Filippo Tuzzeo and Giuseppa Lombardo is in Latin. Some words are illegible or undecipherable, but the key elements are understood.
