On May 23 through
25, 2003, the Lafayette High School Alumni Association
presented a gala celebration of the
100th Anniversary of 'The Old Plant',
chaired by Nick Greco, LHS 1951 and Faye Grisanti Greco, LHS 1952.
Alumni from graduating years ranging from 1933 through 2001 attended, over 1,700
in all,
and raised over $30,000 to be used for the good and welfare of our Alma Mater.

The weekend began with a Friday night Back to School Night.

Guests parked their cars at Buff State, and took a trolley to Lafayette. |
Mr. Gott was at the school, at least in spirit! Judy Shanahan Suhr gave him a hug, in Center Hall. |

This is the program for 'Historicity, a revue tha was performed in the 'Aud', the Cap Mellen Auditorium. It starred LHS Alumni including Dick Nola (LHS 1951), Randy Ruminski (1979), Joyce Merritt Coppolla (1951), Margaret Torregrossa Pagliacci (1979), Jim Concialdi (1955), and Carl Sperrazza. The next night a Dinner-Dance was held at the Buffalo Convention Center, attended by over 1,700 Alumni. Alumni from each decade were seated under a representative logo. |
