After graduating, he served in the U. S. Marine Corps.  On discharge, he began a thirty year career with the U. S. Postal Service, while also working as a stage hand, roustabout and stage manager for numerous live concerts and stage productions at Buffalo and Western New York venues including Shea's Buffalo, Memorial Auditorium and Rich Stadium.  Always a comic, he and his late wife Margie brought laughter to his friends at many gatherings throughout the years, and he was an 'elder brother' to younger TZT Alumni.   Private Service.
